First Communion and Confirmation are more than milestones. They’re sacred moments when children and teens encounter Jesus in a personal way and step more fully into the life of the Church.
Experience divine mercy and personal transformation through the healing power of confession.
receive Christ in the Eucharist and be sealed with the Holy Spirit
grow in knowledge, love, and understanding of Catholic life
feel connected to the wider faith community
Children and teens need more than rules and religion — they need real, personal experiences of faith. Without the right preparation, they may view these sacraments as just a box to check instead of a life-changing encounter with Christ. When families miss this window, it’s harder to help children stay connected to their faith as they grow. That’s why timely, intentional formation is so important.
Faith Formation at Christ the King is designed to help young people understand and embrace the sacraments with joy. Through grade-level preparation, community experiences, and parish support, we help children grow in relationship with God — not just learn the right answers. Parents are also invited to take part, forming a strong foundation at home and in the parish.
Your gifts can make a difference in how others encounter Christ in the liturgy. We’d love to welcome you into this ministry.
